| 2007 Piola Cabernet Sauvignon |
In Piedmont and other regions of northern Italy, the name Piola was used to describe a place where villagers and visitors would gather and dine on simple food and the local unsophisticated but witty wines, many times straight out of the barrel. The name has also been used by Italian immigrants to describe something that is cool, pleasing, or enjoyable. We have chosen this name to brand our simple but lively Cabernet Sauvignon which can be enjoyed with every day food like Pasta, Pizza, and Salads.

| Winemaker's Comments |
With the grapes produced from the cooler parts of our vineyard we have created this simple Cabernet Sauvignon which reveals the fruit richness of Suisun Valley grapes and the fragrance and refreshing texture
of region 3 wines. The round tannins, the elegant balance of flavors and aromas, and the mild exposure to oak makes this wine ideal for every day meals. Drink it slightly cool.
